dun dun duuuuuuuuuuun.....

Number 1.

Freedom of Religion. This is sorta a knife that cuts both ways as far as my love for America goes. On the one hand, I get to worship, an awesome, glorious, merciful, God, the one true God. I get to do this freely, in my car, in my front lawn, in line at the grocery store, anywhere! However, the opposite side of the coin says that anyone can practice any other religion that they want to. I'm sad for these people, as they do not know God or his son, Christ Jesus. And if they do, they refuse acknowledgement. This freedom of other religions, can, and does tread on the toes of my Christianity. I would love to say a prayer again communally before an OU football game, but that day is far off, if at all. Even the pledge of allegiance is in danger, because someone's feelings may be hurt. Take Under God out...I still know that our world and country is under God. Take the ten commandments out of public buildings, I'm still going to know them and follow them. I, can still take those things, those acts of worship, with me, in my heart and in my mind and in my conversations with the Holy Father. I can worship unashamed, how great is that?

Dear Father,

Please bless this nation, a nation Under YOU!
Please be with those in need and show them your grace, also show them your sovereignty and let them learn the lesson you show. Lord, please comfort us in the fact that if scripture is taken off of stone walls, that you will never let it depart from our hearts and tongues. The walls that your scripture is on is in honor of you. But as is all things on this earth, rust, moth, or thieves will destroy, but your Word lasts forever. Thank you Father, take joy at the works of your people as they say Amen.

They had a prayer before the Hornets game Sunday night. It was a priest and he read it, so I don't know if it was a "pre-approved" prayer, but it was a prayer none the less. I was surprized because you really don't see that much any more at public events.

Isn't that what free will is? We could choose to not follow God. I sometimes wonder how much right we have to be offended by other religions. "But for the grace of God go I."
