George W. Bush represents our nation and he represents it well. He also represents the presidency as a whole. This man makes America great. Do you know that it is entirely possible that the man pictured above prayed for you today? President Bush prays for the American people, and I believe his prayers are earnest. In 2002 President Bush had this to say "I encourage Americans to remember the words of St. Paul: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."" ...and he continued with "I ask Americans to pray for God's protection, to express gratitude for our blessings, and to seek moral and spiritual renewal."
I heard it said that George Bush's character was not developed on September 11th, just showcased. President Bush has fought hard for this country's freedom, facing challenges never before presented to any American President. Some say that Bush's religion is America's downfall, because he presents a picture to the world of Christianty and war similtaniously. I believe that is a pessimestic view of our nation and its leader. Christianity is based on love for people, Christ loved all. I believe that President Bush is displaying love to the world, not war, he is showing that in order to show love, some evil regimes need to be taken out of the picture. Bush can not always live in a perfect world where he has an obviously right answer and an obviously wrong choice. The President may have to choose a lesser of two evils in order to do what is right. In this case, Bush had the choice of presenting a picture of war to the world, or letting an evil regime kill hundreds, if not thousands of innocent people, I believe America turning a blind eye to the downtraught of this world is the real damage to the Christian image. So a few, pessimestic people view Bush as a war monger, I believe this is a fair trade off for saving lives, showing love to them, and possibly even enveloping these countries in Christ's love. The world is full of hard choices, and Bush is doing the best that anyone could. I hope this makes some sense...if not let me know!
On a lighter note,
Check out this movie link....
It talks about the 40 things that never happen in real life, but magically always happen in movies.
And speaking of movies, I would like to recommend Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This is such a fun movie. I haven't had this much fun since The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a movie buff, and maybe not everyone likes the samethings I like, but this movie is getting Chad's Stamp of Approval!! Worth it!!

I enjoyed your discourse on the President - I agree, and I believe you do make sense :). Is Charlie really good enough for your stamp of approval? I would trust your stamp of approval much, much more if you hadn't wasted it on the Hulk ;). Hope you're having a great week!
I am thoroughly enjoying your "20 Greatest" list. So "Charlie" is good, huh? You are the second person to say that. It still looks a little weird to me.
That is a great compliment coming from a registered "D". I am glad to see that you've got a character not party kind of opinion. A lot of people accuse Bush of taking us to war but he did not present a picture of war to the world, he answered a call. A call that I believe is not only the responsibility of all those that enjoy freedom but all of those who want to enjoy it in the future. War was brought to us-just glad that our nation's leader talks to God about how we should answer.
