In my previous post I alluded to New York, the Olympics and terrorism. However, at the time I had no idea that London, the winner of the 2012 Olympics would be rocked one day later by terrorism.
Congratulations London on your victory in obtaining the Olympics in 2012. As an American who lives in one of the first terrorism sites in America, Oklahoma City, I applaud your resilience and your united stance against defying those who scarred your public transportation systems today and those who killed your fellow Londoners. Though I've never experienced terrorism first hand, I share in your pain.
Great Britain, in this world, is by far the closest brother to the United States. If someone hurts your brother, are you not saddened? If not, you must reexamine your morals.
This is why terrorism is not going to win in this world, because no matter where it strikes, Oklahoma City, Washington DC, New York City, Madrid, London, the people bounce back, faster, stronger, more determined. Terrorist may kill, which is a sad lose to all in this world, but they will not kill us, a people, our will, our hope.
Tony Blair said it simple, but said it best "We shall prevail and they shall not."
